Residents, young and old, who want to end off the year in a spectacular manner, enjoying dance and entertainment, can do so with a production from the House of Dirty Shakers, in collaboration with Pacofs. The Year of the Butterfly is a contemporary dance show which offers more than beautiful choreography.
“There are four stages to becoming a butterfly. We took those stages and incorporated them into the stages of a human being’s life in the form of the dancers in the company. We implemented them from situations in their lives, in their struggles, their ups and downs and the daily struggles all of us in the company encounter,” explained director, Zane Muller.
The show is directed by Zane Muller, produced by House of Dirty Shakers and choreographed by Teddy B. The dancers include Boipelo Monnamorwe, Wendy Moloi, Elrico Plaaitjies, Mpai Thekiso and Teddy B Mhlambi.
