The ‘Naked’ truth told with body poetry

Naked, a new dance production by the celebrated House of Dirty Shakers, aims to not only entertain the audience, but also educate them about issues such as judgement, harassment and pressure.
Naked is the third major production by the House of Dirty Shakers this year. It is the follow-up production to Lipstick, which was done at Pacofs Studio 2 earlier this year. The other production was the critically acclaimed Impregnated by Dance, which wowed audiences at the Vrystaat Arts Festival and the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown alike.

According the Zane Muller, director and founder of House of Dirty Shakers, Naked is about respecting your body for all it can do.
“Naked is a celebration of self-awareness. It is about embracing the only body you were born with.
